Meet the Family
Dr. Tuli and Dr. Kanika moved here from New York and LA after training and made Ottawa home. After years of dinner table discussions about the connection between dentistry and medicine, they formulated a dream to join forces and Tuli Health and Tuli Dental were born. They have two beautiful girls and love being a part of the growing Embrun community.

Dr. Abishek Tuli is an Internal Medicine MD specialist, who has been in practice in the Ottawa area for over a decade. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, he went to St. George’s Medical School in Grenada, completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the prestigious New York Presbyterian Hospital, and became an affiliate of the Mount Sinai Hospital.
As an Internal Medicine Specialist, Dr. Abishek treats patients ages 16 and over, primarily in the areas of diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, acne, and weight management. He also offers walk in services for other acute conditions.
Dr. Kanika Sabhlok is a general dentist who has been practicing in the Ottawa area for many years. She graduated from University of Toronto for her undergraduate studies and then completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at University of California, Los Angeles. Having volunteered as a dentist in Masai Mara-Kenya, Himalayas, Vietnam, and Guatemala, she’s passionate about serving children and families with comprehensive oral healthcare.
Dr. Kanika practices a wide scope of general dentistry and enjoys seeing pediatric patients as well as adults.
